Born in Annemasse (France) in 1982, Coco graduated from the École Européenne Supérieure de l'Image (Poitiers) in 2008. At the age of 25, as part of an internship, she joined the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo, a newspaper with which she continues to collaborate today. A press cartoonist and journalist, she now uses news as a medium for her work and as a means of questioning the world.
In 2021, Coco publishes Dessiner encore with Les Arènes. A deeply moving account of her journey after the attack on January 7, 2015. This critically acclaimed graphic novel won the Grand prix de la BD ELLE, the Prix du journalisme 2021, the Prix spécial du jury étudiant de la BD politique - LCP 2021, the Prix de la région Centre-Val de Loire, and the Prix Artémisia.
A regular contributor to Arte TV 28 minutes program, Coco will take over from Willem in the pages of Libération on April 1, 2021, as the daily's resident cartoonist retires after 40 years of loyal service. A jubilant challenge taken up with brio by a cartoonist who holds high the values of freedom of expression, feminism and the fight to preserve the environment, through unfiltered humor and a scathing line. In March 2024, Coco joins the artists of the Arts Factory gallery for the Histoires Naturelles exhibition.
