Collection: anouk ricard
Anouk Ricard was born in Istres (South of France) in 1970. After two years of study at the Aix-en-Provence Art School, she joined the Arts-Déco School in Strasbourg, where she completed her illustration diploma in 1995. Anouk then moved to Marseille and began working for the kids press, before publishing a few albums with Editions du Rouergue.
In 2004, she returned to Strasbourg to start the now cult Anna and Froga series. After this first successful foray into comics, the Requins Marteaux publisher will then ask her to work on Commissaire Toumi, a more adult oriented project for their magazine Ferraille Illustré
Between South Park and La Maison de Toutou, Anouk Ricard's little world allows several levels of reading. With her minimalist drawings, close to childhood universe, and incisive dialogues inspired by the daily life of adults, she hits the mark again in Coucous Bouzon, published by Gallimard, Ducky Coco for 2024 éditions and Planplan Cucul, the undisputed bestseller of the BDcul collection.
In 2022, Anouk Ricard joins the Exemplaire collective for which she develops the adventures of Animan.
Alongside her editorial activities, Anouk Ricard loves to paint dogs portraits, and used to sing and play music with the Frouky duet.
